Description

Established in 2015, Bramble Rose Farm is a first generation farm owned and operated by Linda Suttlehan and husband, John Duquette. We grow and produce fruits and vegetables on 3 acres of our 8.9 acre farm. John's two daughters and 5 grandsons started helping with the farm in 2022. We strive to provide high quality produce by implementing naturally growing practices like pest control, weed management, minimal tilling, no dig and composting our garden scraps. We employ several types of gardening techniques that include Square Foot and Mittleider gardening plus Premaculture, Hukelkultur and Back to Eden methods. By implementing these different methods we compliment and integrate our vegetables at a high density to increase our yield, maximize food in small spaces, and improve soil biology. We also have three high tunnels to extend our growing season, two net houses to protect our vegetables from pest, a corn maze, pumpkin patch and a small orchard.

Our annual Farm Dinner is the first Friday in October. On Saturdays only, visit our country store to buy seasoned fruits and vegetables, jams and jellies, teas, spices, Artisan breads and canned items made with our locally grown fruits and vegetables. We open our Farmer's Market Saturdays 9:00 am - 2:00 pm from May thru September, right here on the Farm. Book your next family gathering, reunion, birthday party in our outdoor space with catering, decorations and music to go along with your themed event. Keep your eye on our Facebook page and website for paint nights, Chuck Wagon Dinner, Game night, and other themed events.
