Our great grandmother started serving her homemade salsa in 1967 when she opened the family restaurant named El Zarape. Later taken over by our aunt, she started jarring the salsa and selling in restaurant to our customers. Years later, she expanded into Walmart, Dillons and several small markets around the state of Kansas.
