Grey Meadows Alpaca Farm is a small, veteran-owned business. We are open to the public, but by appointment only. Please call (301) 980-7019 to arrange your visit.
We are a "mom & pop" operation and prefer small groups only. Be aware that our bar, while it is accessible, has no restroom facilities. Our house has a restroom but is not handicap accessible. Visitors can expect to learn about the unique history and biology of the alpaca, their behavior, and their care and feeding. You will have the opportunity to closely interact with and feel alpacas. In addition, you will get to meet our three Great Pyrenees Livestock Guardian dogs, whose job it is to protect the alpacas year-round and gain an appreciation of the close, bonded relationship the dogs have with "their" alpacas.
