The Mainstreet Market is opening for its very first year in 2023 under the umbrella of Junction City Mainstreet. We are working to support our local community by providing more access to local farmers and small business owners. There will be weekly themes and entertainment, educational booths, contests, and much more! Come and see what makes Junction City a unique and wonderful place to visit. The mission of Main Street Farmer’s Market is to: Support our local agriculture and businesses by providing a space for direct-to-consumer sales. Enhance community health by improving access to healthy fresh foods and education to residents in Junction City, Geary County, and surrounding areas. Serve as a place to enjoy diverse food cuisine and diets embracing the cultural heritage of our community. Bolster ongoing efforts for Junction City's downtown revitalization creating economic opportunities for current and future downtown businesses. Encourage cooperation from all sellers, buyers, and volunteers to make it a success, realizing the value of working together for economic progress. Enrich the quality of life. The mission of Main Street Maker’s Market is to: Support our local entrepreneurs by providing a space for direct-to-consumer sales. Provide a designated market space bringing local makers, artists, writers, photographers, collectors, and designers together to showcase talents, artistry, and craftsmanship to shoppers and tourists who are looking for something unique Provide more retail opportunities for our community and the surrounding region.
