Description
LIONBERRY REGENERATIVE was born from the vision of Bevin Brooks, a Kansas City entrepreneur who started with a small elderberry and lion'smane mushroom farm and a bold idea: create a refreshing, restorative recovery drink powered by natural farm-grown ingredients. What began as a single-farm venture quickly grew into a thriving business fueled by collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to local food systems.
Bevin Brooks is co-chair and founder Heartland Elderberry Collaborative a pilot AgriCluster for the states of Kansas and Missouri. This is an AgriCluster with few dozen farms helping to organize as a non-profit and share resources making it easier for growers to get to market. Elderberry is excellent for soil health (see website) and a gateway to Regenerative Farming!
Powered by Local Farmers
Lionberry is more than just a drink—it’s a hub of collaboration among small farms across the Heartland:
- Elderberries from many small farms across the Heartland Elderberry Collaborative and in collaboration with Beuhler Organics.
- Lion’s Mane mushrooms from Myers Mushrooms in Wichita, KS
- Honey from SHoney Farm in Wamego, KS
Together, these partnerships not only fuel LIONBERRY'S signature Regenerative Hydration, but also strengthen local farm economies and foster the Multiplier Effect.
The Road Ahead
LIONBERRY has moved into wholesale distribution with the help of co-packers and retail grocery.
“LIONBERRY REGENERATIVE HYDRATION is more than a drink—it’s a movement, rooted in local farms, built through community partnerships, and crafted to fuel healthy, active lives.”
