Description
Prairie Band Ag is tribally owned and operated by the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation (PBPN) located in Northeast Kansas. For the past three years, Prairie Band Ag has been able to integrate regenerative agricultural practices on the nations lands by implementing cover crops, utilizing soil friendly no till practices, and introducing the cultivation of hemp into the crop rotation. In addition to these sustainable agriculture practices, Prairie Band Ag has established a hemp processing facility and has begun processing hemp fiber with a primary focus on producing quality hurd, milled hurd, and raw bast fibers. Our company and tribal nation firmly believe in building a future of self-sufficiency through a thriving, sustainable, and diverse agricultural sector.
