Strong Roots Healthy Farming grows and sells vegetables, fruit, and herbs as naturally and as eco-friendly as possible so that the nutritional value of your food stays intact. Although we specialize in leafy greens (check out our salad mixes), we manage our land with compost, cover crops, diversity, and a rotational system to keep the microorganisms we need in the soil that feeds our plants. We sell online via our website (strongrootshealthyfarming.com) or at the Old Town Farmer's Market and the Kansas Grown Farmer's Market. Our diverse line of canned products stems from a need to preserve our harvests. That means that the majority of the produce we can comes directly from our farm. Salsa, hot sauce, pickled beets, garlic pickles, and red cherry pepper relish are just a few of the items you'll find on our shelves. We believe that the food we grow has the ability to change lives: to make our family and our community healthier and happier.
