Haysville Hometown Market is a farm and art market located in Haysville?s quaint Historic District.  The market began in 2005 and currently has around 17 vendors. The vendors sell products from locally grown fresh vegetables, fruits, and live plants, to baked goods, cookies, jellies, fresh eggs, jewelry, wood crafted items, quilted and crocheted items and more.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Since Haysville does not have a grocery store, the market is a convenient way for local residents to purchase fresh produce and goods for the week. Because of the growing interest and attraction of the market, market organizers are looking to expand in the future by adding another building.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

The market provides lots of fun in addition to shopping. The Haysville Hometown Market is a market for the entire family to enjoy. A $15 gift certificate is drawn weekly for customers to spend at booths participating in the market. Once a month, face painting and free horse rides are available for children, and the Wire House Art Gallery, located in the Haysville Historic District, is open with exquisite art for customers to enjoy. OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

The market is also a supporter of the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program. ?The senior farmers? market nutrition program is an excellent service to the elders in the community, says market manager Kelsey Blue. ?It allows the older generation of our community to purchase some of their produce necessities at the market weekly at a reduced price.?

The market is located at 105 S. Main in Haysville and is open June through September from 8 to 11 a.m.
