Oatie Beef: Oat fed beef stands out in Kansas beef market

Lacey Haskett of Oatie Beef finds the most benefit in the From the Land of Kansas program providing members with events to feature Kansas meat.
Haskett explains that they have customers from kansas and even from beyond the pond, “We have a customer from England and also ship to many different states,” says Haskett. If you are looking to purchase, Oatie Beef is available from Kansas City to Lindsborg and everywhere in between.
One thing consumers may not know is, Oatie Beef names almost all of their calves. As a company, Oatie Beef originated in 2013 and has been growing ever since. The Oatie Beef operation is unique in that all of their beef is fed with oats.
Haskett recommends the From the Land of Kansas program to others because, “It has helped us to get our name out to those who are hard to reach and we enjoy having From the Land of Kansas as part of our team,” says Haskett.
