There’s no need to worry about breakfast, lunch or dinner with Sarah Jane’s take-and-bake meals. From breakfast burritos to tasty taco casserole, there’s something for the entire family and the perfect topping for every meal too!
 
Sarah Jane’s, located in Argonia, Kansas, specializes in making homemade green tomato salsa and more recently, take-and-bake meals. Sarah Jane’s first began in 2009 as a backyard garden after Sarah Jane May found herself without a job as a young mother. While money was tight, she grew produce for her family. Sarah Jane would often give the surplus away to her friends and neighbors. After those around her kept insisting on paying her, Sarah Jane finally decided to start her own business, and thus, Sarah Jane’s was born. With the growth of the business, Sarah Jane’s husband Shane made the switch to help manage the business full time in 2017.
 
The onset of the COVID-19 brought many challenges for the little town of Argonia, whose nearest grocery store is located 20 miles away. Many residents were unable to visit the grocery store on a regular basis due to the pandemic. Sarah Jane, owner of Sarah Jane’s, realized that a great way to help her community was to create take-and-bake meals to alleviate the stress of cooking wholesome meals during these tough times.
 
Take-and-bake meals from Sarah Jane’s include breakfast burritos (available in one, three, or seven count); crack chicken penne, taco casserole, breakfast casserole (all available in one or 3.5 lb servings); and choice of beef or chicken enchiladas (available in four or eight count).

Sarah Jane’s offers green tomato salsa in mild, medium, hot, and rocket fuel for an extra kick; sweet and tangy chow chow; and jalapeno jelly, jalapeno mustard, jalapeno relish are also for those spicy food lovers out there!

Sarah Jane’s would love to have you for a visit. Anyone is welcome to come and visit the facility for a tour. Hours of operation are Tuesday – Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
