Introducing From the Land of Kansas Summer Intern
Please welcome our 2024 summer intern Reese Grigsby.
Reese is a senior at Kansas State University majoring in agriculture communications and journalism and a minor in animal sciences & industry. Her roots trace back to the small town of Ashland, located in the southwestern region of Kansas, where she was raised on a black angus cow-calf and stocker operation.
After graduating, she hopes to obtain a position that enables her to advocate for and represent the interests of small-scale producers in Kansas. Therefore, she recognized the From the Land of Kansas internship as a perfect fit. “I am most excited to be helping small businesses market their products and get them in the hands of consumers.”
During her time with the program, she hopes to further her skills in graphic design and marketing. So far, she has enjoyed creating social media content and interacting with new members. In the future, she is most looking forward to being a part of larger events such as the Kansas State Fair.
