The From the Land of Kansas program is excited to launch the holiday gift boxes, featuring products from twelve different member- businesses. Online ordering began October 1^st, 2025, and can be shipped anywhere in the United States. For orders larger than 10, please call 785-565-6759 or email fromthelandofkansas@ks.gov to ensure holiday delivery.

Each box can be customized with a handwritten note to your recipient and delivered during the week you chose. The first available ship date will be the week of November 10^th and will run through the first week of January, or while supplies last. This year there are two box options, Ad Astra and Konza.

Ad Astra Holiday Gift Box includes:

• Beer Bread Mix from Bruce's Bullseye- An easy, no-knead yeast bread that can be made fresh for your family. As a first-generation farm, Bruce’s Bullseye Farms offers a variety of handcrafted items such as jams, jellies, apple butter, bread mixes, and candied jalapenos and more as an extension of their farm. • Travis's Steak Rub from Smokehouse Seven- A great seasoning that complements the steak but does not overpower it. This rub includes many ingredients that are meant to complement the beef flavors. Smokehouse seven originated in Solomon, Kansas back in 2020 and now appears in many storefronts. Visit them at their website smokehouseseven.com.
• Freeze-Dried Basil Salt Mammoth Mouth- This delicious basil salt would go great in soups, salads, and even a twice baked potato. Mammoth Mouth is a small, family-owned business in a LaCygne that offers a variety of freeze-dried items to choose from. Find more options at mammothmouth.com.
• Honey from AJ Honey Farms- Pure, raw, unfiltered honey straight from the hive into the 8 oz bottle. Starting out as a business in their backyard, AJ Honey Farms has grown to a storefront in Salina. Visit them at 901 N. 9^th Street in Salina or visit their website at ajhoneyfarms.com.
• Red Wine Chocolate Sauce from Cocoavino- This luxury chocolate offers a unique, rich flavor with a subtle finish of light red wine acidity. This chocolate goes great with fruit, ice-cream, or even by the spoonful. Located out of Olathe, Cocoavino is available on their website cocoavino.co.
• Caramel Popcorn from Schlaegel's Popcorn- This caramel flavor has been perfected as it has gone through the families’ generations. The caramel flavor melts in your mouth with a warm comforting aftertaste. You can find their popcorn in many stores in northeast Kansas or at their website popcorngifts.net.
• Kenzee's Everything Sauce from MKC Kitchen- This sweet sauce with a hint of spice goes great with everything. Kenzee was going to culinary school and dreamed her whole life of being a famous farm-to-table chef. After she passed away unexpectedly, her parents, along with the rest of the family, decided to keep her dream alive through MKC’s Kitchen. Located in Bazine, MKC Kitchen is also home to MKC’s Rub. Konza Holiday Gift Box includes:

• Mild & Sassy Dry Rub from Spice It Up- This sweet and savory blend of seasonings would go great with any type of meat and sprinkled on top of some popcorn! Spice It Up is home to Bonner Springs and was started during the COVID-19 pandemic. Even having only been in business for a short time, Spice It Up has already won several awards. • Steak Cover Seasoning from Yucca Flats Cattle Co.- The savory flavors of this seasoning will taste amazing when coated over a steak. Yucca Flats Cattle Co., located in Burdett, Kansas, is committed to serving premium grain-finished beef and delicious seasonings to go with it. • Medium Garden Salsa from Holmes Made Salsa- The blend of tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, and garlic create a balanced flavor of sweet and spicy. • Pork Snack Stick in Maple Bacon Flavor from The Gingham Pig- Along with a variety of different flavors, the Maple Bacon flavored pork stick offers a smooth yet smoky taste when taking a bite. • Winter Jam from King Bee- King Bee, located out of Kansas City, offers a variety of artisan, homemade canned goods. He is famous for his Winter Jam that goes great as a smooth glaze over a holiday ham or even as a topping for your favorite soft cheese, such as cream cheese or brie.
