Elizabeth Wright, From the Land of Kansas Member Coordinator, is originally from Olsburg, Kansas. She attended college at Kansas State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural communication and journalism. She previously worked for K-State before switching over to the Kansas Department of Agriculture.

Wright is eager to use her passion for storytelling and understanding of personal motivators to market and support From the Land of Kansas members. She thrives on being a hard worker who wants to serve others and assist them in accomplishing their goals.

“I am looking forward to meeting all the members and hearing the story behind how they got started and it is fascinating to learn about their products,” Wright said. “I have not interacted with many members quite yet but can envision it being very positive and surrounded with a lot of eagerness and excitement about Kansas products and the impact they have.”

She has already gotten fully underway in her role processing new member certificates, updating farmers’ market registrations, and welcoming members into the From the Land of Kansas family.
